White Chicken Chili

This got mixed reviews. I LOVED it, DH hated it. Oh well, can't win them all! I will definitely be making this to take with me to lunch sometime. It was such a nice change from regular chili. I got this chili recipe from a few places. I combined several recipes to suit my needs but I am sorry I didn't bookmark the originals. It really hit the spot though. This was also my first time making white chili, but I think it turned out alright!

White Chicken Chili
(source: not sure!)

2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp olive oil
2 tsp hot pepper sauce (I added a lot more!)
3 cloves garlic
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup flour
chopped chicken breast
6 cup chicken broth
2 cans white beans
4 oz diced chilis
1 1/2 tsp cumin (I didn't have any but it was still good)

Heat oil in pot. Add onion and garlic and saute for a couple of minutes. Add all other ingredients, stirring occaisionally. Thicken with more flour if needed. Simmer on medium low for as long as you need it to! I topped mine with a little reduced fat cheese.

6 servings
POINTS per serving w/o cheese: 4
