I Heart Bakespace!!

THANK YOU Babette at Bakespace. I am just so excited right now! I won the KitchenAid Professional 600 Series Bowl Lift Mixer! Oh my gosh! I thought I would post this because I am just too ansy right now to go to bed! My old KitchenAid mixer is on it's last legs. It lived a long and happy life (I've had it for 9 years now, bought it right out of high school). I decided on the Copper Pearl color because I thought it was kind of different. We don't really have color's or a theme yet in our Tiny Pink Kitchen but someday we will and I love this color.

I also won a daily prize earlier this month. I won a KitchenAid Food Processor. I was so surprised because it was 2 days before my birthday, so it was a early present for me. I chose the Stainless Steel color for this prize.

One of the best things about this contest and promotion was that I really did meet new people while on Bakespace. This is one of the main ideas behind the site. Babette's motto at Bakespace is, "Come for the Food, Stay for the Conversation." And this is so true. During this promotion, I met several new people who love cooking and baking just as much as me. Ironically, many of the girls on the site (there are men too!) I talk to on a regular basis on the What's Cooking board on thenest. So we were able to get to know each other even better yet. :o)
